Arbor & Lattice- Grubbs - March 2003

AFTER

This arbor is likely the final evolutionary feature of this house. When the deck was originally built, there was an arbor at the opposite end of the deck - now a screened porch. When I dismantled the original arbor, I was able to save some of the wood to be used again in the new one. Arbors are particularly nice to have over portions of a deck. They offer some partial shade and LOTS of places to hang things (plants, swings, bird-feeders, wind-chimes....).
